What is True Hot Yoga?

Established nearly 20 years ago, True Hot Yoga has been Scottsdale’s premiere Hot Yoga studio, expanding to our second True Hot Yoga location at Arrowhead Ranch. 

We are all about providing our yogis with a safe, positive, and enjoyable space. With a mission to create a transformational and balanced environment where individuals can grow stronger both mentally and physically, through the practice of True Hot Yoga.

True Hot Yoga was created by utilizing components of our different types of yoga, traditional hot yoga and Ashtanga-inspired vinyasa flow. Ashtanga-inspired vinyasa flow is essentially a system of postures that have varying degrees of difficulty and incredible benefits. This makes it an excellent practice for beginners and advanced hot yoga practitioners alike. Postures, breath, and focus are three of the main aspects of our practice that we hone in on during each class. 

It’s important that we stay focused and in flow during class, as our rooms are heated with modern heat and humidifying systems. Anti-bacterial flooring, showers, ice-cold water, snacks and other amenities are just a few of the perks of joining us at True Hot Yoga. How to recover after hot yoga for maximum results

Now, when it comes to the other side of hot yoga recovery- literally recovering from hot yoga, we do have a few tips and tricks you can use to ensure that you are maximizing your results.

- Hydrate

Drink your water and ensure that you are getting your electrolytes as well. With all of the sweating that you are doing, it is important to stay hydrated! 

- Cleanse Your Body

Take a shower and clean your body. With excessive sweating, it will be important that you get any bacteria off of your body.

- Nourish Your Body

You can burn as many as 600 calories in a Hot Yoga class (this varies per person) so it will be very important to replenish your body with whole foods and nutrient-dense snacks after class. HB Wellness is a popular protein shake shop near by!
