Free weights are added to create resistance and intensify each pose. Strength-training exercises such as squats, lunges, bicep and tricep curls are incorporated to build lean muscle mass. Our Hot Power classes are vigorous yet accessible. They integrate fluid transitions from pose to pose, seamlessly linking body, breath and movement in the Ashtanga inspired vinyasa tradition. Our Yin + Restorative classes teach the body to surrender allowing for soft tissue injuries to heal, muscles to release, minds to quiet and deepen physical openings. Teach your body when to be active and when to relax to increase performance, reduce stress and heal. This calming, therapeutic class uses props to support the body in order to deepen the benefits of poses. Both soothing and nurturing, this class promotes the effects of conscious relaxation. An opportunity to be still, relax and let go! Open to all levels. These classes are mildly heated.
