First Time at Hot Yoga? Here’s What to Expect
First time? Chill—we’ve got you. No one expects you to twist like a pretzel or know all the moves. Just show up, breathe, and let the heat do its thing.
Our studio runs around 105°F, but don’t stress—it’s a dry, controlled heat that helps your muscles loosen up and your mind zone out.
You’ll sweat (a lot), so bring water, wear something light, and maybe skip the heavy breakfast. Our instructors will guide you through every pose, and breaks are always cool—literally.
By the end, you’ll feel like you just hit “restart” on your entire day. First class? Feels like a cheat code for stress.

I have been practicing yoga and moving type meditations for over 50 years, the last 16 some type of hot yoga. True Hot Yoga has become my “Go to”, when visiting in Phoenix. There are no “Bells and Whistles” with large dressing rooms, showers etc. That is not what practicing yoga is about. It’s about a solid, rhythmic, well sequenced practice incorporating strength, flexibility, rest and focus. These are the “True” principles of a solid yoga practice, in my opinion and experiences. Thank you “True Hot Yoga”. For being my Phoenix retreat ♥️ Dr. Dawn M Macy, Ed.D.
